Professional triathlete from New Zealand, 34 years old and has competed in triathlon for ten years. Rebecca initially raced in the ITU World Series from 2014-2016, her best result being 23rd at the Elite Grand Final in Edmonton.
After a break following injuries and a crash she kicked off her long distance career with 4th at Taupo 70.3 in her first half ironman race. From there she raced around New Zealand and Australia, gaining podiums along the way.
In 2019 she did her first Ironman in Taupo and placed fifth. 2020-2021 was light on racing with the pandemic while 2022 has been her best year yet with a 2nd place at Ironman Australia (qualifying for Kona). Following that with a 5th at Challenge Roth then an 8th at PTO US Open and finally a 17th place at the Ironman World Champs in her rookie debut.
Rebecca comes from a swimming background and with her swimming pedigree is regularly first out of the water. Rebecca is also a Triathlon coach for Foot Traffic coaching and enjoys helping others achieve their goals in triathlon and enjoy the sport that has been an integral part of Rebecca’s life. Rebecca is excited to be representing EDCO on the world stage and racing fast with her EDCO disc.
